• Lowbit Mono 5x7: classic monospace for dialogue, menus and UI. Use at 7 / 14 / 21 px
• Lowbit Chunky 8: bold proportional display font for titles, scores and buttons. Use at 8 / 16 / 24 px
• Lowbit Tiny 3x5: micro font for HUDs, tooltips and tiny screens, upper and lower case. Use at 5 / 10 / 15 px

Formats

• TTF (recommended, pixel-perfect), OTF
• PNG sprite sheet + BMFont .fnt for engines that use bitmap fonts
• Tested by rendering every glyph at 1x to 4x and comparing it to the source grid: 0 pixel difference for the TTFs

Works with Godot, Unity, GameMaker, RPG Maker, Construct, Defold, LOVE2D, Pygame and the web. Tip: turn off anti-aliasing and use integer sizes.

How it was made

Each glyph is defined as a pixel grid in code and converted to vector fonts with a custom build script, written with AI assistance. No AI image generator was used.
